Jaafari Teachers' Network

Welcome to Jaafari Teachers' Network

The first and only independent network of professional teachers from the Jaafari school of thought in the UK.

Who We Are

Jaafari Teachers' Network (JTN) is an independent network of professional teachers from the Jaafari school of thought.

Teaching and learning is held with high esteem within the Jaafari traditions, so much so that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) has told his companions “seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave”. This is a clear testimony to the special attention that Islam places on knowledge and literacy. As followers of this school of thought, we believe being in the education profession brings with it great responsibility. This responsibility involves using our knowledge, understanding and tools at our disposal to support our Jaafari community in their endeavour to achieve the highest of statuses.

Our aim is to be a forward thinking and supportive network for all our highly trained teachers.

What We Do
